How Do I Find Jailed Juveniles in Arizona?
- 1). Go to the inmate data search page at the Arizona Department of Corrections website. Search for an individual inmate by entering the juvenile's last name, first name, gender and current status (if known). The database contains information regarding inmates who were in ADC custody in 1985, and those who arrived thereafter. There are more than 112,000 records in the database, and about 26,000 of these are records pertaining to current inmates.
- 2). Contact the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections in the relatively likely event that the juvenile inmate's records are not included in the ADC database. The ADJC is responsible for juveniles who have been deemed delinquent. ADJC manages Arizona's secure juvenile facilities and also provides services to juvenile offenders -- these include treatment, education and rehabilitation. The ADJC's operating hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
