For most people, if not all, acne is something that happens to us at least once in our lives, but for some unfortunate few these skin blemishes just never seem to go away.
There are many different causes for different people such as hormones, genes, puberty etc.
The good news is its treatable, so here are the 5 top tips to get rid of acne forever.
1.
Diet.
One of the bets ways to treat acne is to eat the correct foods.
Consume lots of fruit and vegetables.
Try and stick to organic foods because they are not processed and contain no chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides, which are sprayed on just about all crops today.
This will not only benefit your skin but your overall health as well.
Don't make this difficult, still enjoy a chocolate here, a sweet there, moderation is the key.
2.
Water.
8 to 10 glasses of water a day.
Each glass should be about 8 ounces or 250ml.
To those of you who don't know what water is this might sound hard, but this is probably the most important aspect in cleansing the body inside and out.
I suggest drinking purified water, which tastes sweet and wet as water should, not dry and bitter like normal water.
It will also make it easier to drink more water.
Water flushes out all the toxins in your body, making you feel great, your skin as well.
3.
Vitamins.
This is related to your diet in that certain vitamins found in certain foods can reduce the outbreak of acne.
Vitamins such as A, B, B12, E, B5, and B6 are all good for your skin.
If its to much effort to find foods just take a supplement, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
Many people take a daily multivitamin which contains most if not all the vitamins required.
Again stick to organic and note that supplements are not a substitute for a varied diet.
4.
Natural Remedies.
Natural remedies, or to be more specific, natural herbs are very popular today and some have been found to aid the treatment of acne.
Some of the main ones are Dandelion Root, Alfalfa, and some Chinese herbs such as Lung Heat and Yang Ming.
Red Clover is currently very popular because it gets rid of toxins in the body by purifying the blood.
5.
Dermatology.
If you have pretty severe acne and everything you have tried has failed (although I am pretty sure the above steps will help) seeing a dermatologist could be the solution.
They are quite thorough and will check your diet, history, skin type and determine a treatment program that best suites you.
As a teenager I had bad acne ( nothing worse for a teenager!) and a dermatologist was the stepping stone to its solution.
Acne is pretty complicated but the treatment does not have to be.
