Tribute To A Mother

"Mother" ah! What a soothing word.
The word itself shows so much love and tenderness that, we tend to forget all our worries .
It is a one stop solution for everything.
All of us have heard about this saying, "God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers".
How true it is! Mother is worshipped and respected like a GOD.
"Before you were conceived I wanted you.
Before you were born, I loved you before you were here an hour, I would die for you.
Such is the mother's love for her child, so pure..
..
so unconditional..
...
" When a child is born, a Mother is born...
and from that moment onwards, she sacrifices everything for her child.
Mothers are the source of life, love, strength, power and healing, and they are always patient, full of compassion and understand the meaning of the word "sacrifice"-starting from when they bear children in their wombs for nine months.
To a child, Mother is more than just the breath of life; Mother is the gentle, forgiving first teacher at whose knee life's lessons are learned.
There is no love like a Mother's love.
At its finest, the love a mother possesses for her child embodies all the beautiful virtues that we, as human beings, hold sacred--patience, kindness, forgiveness, compassion.
Howsoever great and wealthy he or she is, no son or daughter on earth can ever repay the debts to a mother.
The worth of a mother is price less.
She has created us, she has groomed us and she has sacrificed and suffered for us.
Words fail to celebrate a mother.
None can take the place of a mother.
I know of a mother who sacrificed much for her four children, so they would have the best possible education and all the material comforts she could provide.
This mother also inculcated strong moral and spiritual values in her children and, even as these children grew and had families of their own, she adored and cared for them just the same.
This woman is my mother, whom I consider the greatest person I have ever known.
This article is not just a write up but my feelings of gratitude and respect towards her.
Without her I would not have been in the place where I am right now.
She has stood behind me like a strong mountain through all my problems always showing me the right direction whenever I took the wrong one...
It is rightly said that you don't appreciate your mother until you, yourself, become a mother.
Now after becoming a mother myself I can now understand in a much better way how many efforts, sacrifices it takes to bring up a child with good moral values.
As a mother of daughters, I am keenly aware that my life choices will be their first model when they venture out into the world.
They may choose differently, but their point of comparison will be the decisions I made about my career and family.
So while I hope they understand that family is my top priority, I also love that they see me having a professional life that is rewarding and important.
It's healthy for children not to be the only focus of their mother's life -- that's in a way too much pressure.
They need the room to make mistakes and learn from them without mother always hovering nearby.
The same holds true for mothers of boys.
If boys are going to grow up to respect women as equal contributors to the workplace, it helps for them to see their mom in that role.
More and more children should be encouraged to celebrate the Mother's Day to acknowledge the strength of women.
Women, who now have more choices, opportunities and inalienable rights, but who all share the tremendous sacrifice they made to become mothers.
The responsibilities today's Mothers encapsulate have increased manifold as she goes out to share the responsibility of the family along with the husband.
She may be a tough manager or a hard to please boss outside, but once she returns home she is again the same patient, kind, willing to sacrifice her own comforts, mother who understands the children's problem, who can uniquely sense their needs, both physical and emotional even when they cannot express it.
In the end I would through this article like to give Tribute to all women whether working or not who are mothers.
After all, motherhood is one of the most selfless acts of humanity.
Giving birth and providing a loving relationship and unconditional support can be the most rewarding achievement in life.
