Understanding God"s Created Woman
In our day to day quest sometimes we question ourselves as women.
These questions range in a broad spectrum.
Why am I here? What is my purpose? Am I doing all that I should and could be? Women from all walks of life want to know the answers to these questions because deep in their hearts they know that life is more than just being a housewife and being a mother and even working in corporate America.
Knowing who you are and why you are here comes first by building a relationship with the one who created you, the lord.
To be a woman in the lord is the highest honor there is and when you begin to understand your true identity in the lord it will reveal your true you.
In this all that you are and all that you are achieving will be done with a greater sense of purpose.
The word of God tells us that your latter shall be greater than your former.
In my first series of articles you are going to be introduced to a lady who knew all to well what it meant to find out who she was in a time when women were thought less of and in her journey she discovered that she was a woman of great integrity.
Before we began let's define a few words.
The first word is woman and this word is defined as an adult human being.
Our second word is womanhood.
Webster defines this word as the state of being a woman.
The word state means a condition or mode of being with regard to a set of circumstances.
Also it relates to position or a condition of being in a stage or form, as of structure, growth, or development.
In Philippians four eleven the apostle Paul says that you should learn to be content in whatever state that you may be in.
We as women are caregivers naturally and that alone can bring a lot of stress.
In genesis one the scripture states that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Everything in between from the bountiful vegetation to all the different kinds of animals.
He created all of this not for himself but, for us.
In Genesis two it is stated he created his most precious creation of all, mankind.
Genesis two verse seven says that the lord formed man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.
God saw that it was not good that man should be alone and put Adam into a deep sleep and then he took one of his ribs and made Eve.
The man said, "bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh", she shall be called woman.
Women you are not to stand behind or be put under anyone but, to stand beside.
You are precious.
You were created by the master artist and no matter what you are doing at this very moment, being precious in his sight is the most wonderful and humbling place to be.
From the time we are born we often have other people in our lives whether it is our mother, father, grandparents or someone in our circle of influence that is already dreaming and planning our lives for us.
At times this that can be a blessing and at other times it can be a burden.
So often we give up on our own dreams to take care of everyone else first.
Do not misunderstand what is being said because it is awesome to serve others.
It just shows you are dedicated to helping others make their mark, although while helping others you watch your dreams slowly fall to the ground and die.
There is plenty of room to be able to help others while achieving your own place in this life.
A life that when it is full it will often produce abundance and reap tremendous rewards.
Think about the women you have known personally or through some literature you may have read.
Can you visualize the imprint that they have left in your minds and hearts? Now ponder and ask yourself this, what kind of imprint have I made in the hearts and minds of young girls or women in my life to this date?
