Selling On eBay - eBay Power Seller Stealth Secrets Revealed (Part3)

First Method: CHECK OUT WHAT'S HOT ON EBAY In case you haven't already noticed, eBay has a TON of resources for sellers.
One of the main resources that I use on eBay is "Seller Central".
eBay will actually tell you what is "hot".
The last time I looked at what was hot, one of the things listed was golf clubs.
If you wanted to buy and sell golf clubs, you do not have to be a professional golfer or even know anything about golf.
I have sold all kinds of things that I don't know about.
The process is simple.
After deciding on something that you want to sell I simply open up two web browsers and tile them vertically.
In one browser I go to my favorite classifieds site (craigslist.
com) and in the other browser I go to Ebay.
com.
Now, do a search on craigslist.
com for the item that you are looking for.
For instance, let's say that I'm doing a search for a "Big Bertha Golf Club" on craigslist.
com.
After the results come up, look at the price that the seller wants.
Now, go to eBay in the other window and type "Big Bertha Golf Club".
Now sort it by "Ending Soonest".
You will now see what the Big Bertha Golf Club is selling for on Ebay.
If the ad for the golf club on craigslist.
com is only $35 but on eBay it is selling for $150 then there you have it.
Offer the seller of the club $40 including shipping.
Have the golf club sent to you then list it on Ebay.
Then every penny over $40 that you do on eBay for the club will be pure profit.
Always, always, always compare the items that you find on the classifieds sites to Ebay.
You HAVE to make sure that you can make a profit off of the products that you buy.
When you are buying the products be sure to ask the seller about the condition of the product.
You don't want to buy something that is in bad condition.
You will find that most people take really good care of their things.
I have often run into items that were worth over a $1,000 that someone wanted to get rid of for $200 and has only every been used two or three times.
Second Method: PICK SOMETHING THAT YOU KNOW A LOT ABOUT I am a scuba diver and know a lot about scuba equipment.
Are you a hunter? Do you know a lot about hunting gear? What about computers? Do you know a lot about computer supplies? What about antiques? Do you know a lot about old tables, chairs, etc? Use your imagination.
This could be anything that you have a hobby in and know a lot about.
Also, don't lock yourself down to one item.
Don't keep all your eggs in one basket.
If you are really struggling with this method, use the first method of studying "what's hot" on Ebay.
I switch and use both methods when I want to try something new.
I have made a ton of money using these methods and continue to profit every day because of it.
With two hours a day you could really get things moving and start making some serious cash.
Start small.
Buy something that you think is worth $100 that you can get for $25.
Triple your money! Take $50 back for yourself and invest another $50 in something that you can make $200 on.
So now you've already paid yourself and made another investment to more than double that money.
Start small so that you don't strap yourself purchasing things.
Remember, always pay yourself first before you reinvest your money.
Don't go out and blow $1,000 on something to make money.
Take $25, $50, or even $100 depending on your budget.
Start with local classifieds until you have them all saturated.
Then move to online classifieds.
I have found old antique refrigerators that people are selling for $35 that are worth over $1,500.
The opportunities are endless.
This business may seem way to easy, but I'm telling you and I can prove to you that we have done about $24,000 on eBay using these same methods.
I truly believe that the money is in the used stuff, not the new stuff.
People buy things out of emotion and because they think they really need it.
Three weeks their interest moves to something else and they leave that item sitting in the closet for months.
Sooner or later it gets in their way and they want to get rid of it for pennies! I have always gone by the saying of "Work smart, not hard".
There is money to be made many different ways.
This is a very easy and fun way to make some really good money.
