"Some of the best pork in Penang can be found at Sky Hotel on Chulia Street," explains Lingzie. "The place specializes in char siew (sweet barbequed pork) and siew bak (roasted belly pork) rice. This stall, located in the kopitiam below Sky Hotel, is yet another icon of Penang, having been in business for a long time.

"Do not be fooled by the fancy name of Sky Hotel. It's really just a motel. But perhaps it could have been the best motel in its heyday, hence the 'upgrade' to Hotel!"
