Gift-Library has a confession. It's only one week into the twelve week sequinned extravagaza that is Strictly Come Dancing, and we already have a favourite. She's the Aussie babe who graced our screens as Flick in the hugely popular soap Neighbours who then went on to score a massive pop hit with her infectiously catchy single 'Kiss Kiss.' A successful model, actress and singer, we're proud to say Holly Valance is our girl.
Aside from being totally gorgeous and talented, Holly also happens to be great friends with Gift-Library CEO Caroline Stanbury, so it's no surprise that we're waving our virtual banner for her. A regular shopper on Gift-Library, we caught up with Holly for a chat about how she's planning to take the Strictly judges by storm and she divulges some of her expert shopping tips.
Clearly determined to impress the judges and her fellow Strictly contestants Holly's being put through her paces by professional dancer, and last year's winner, Artem Chigvintsev, "I'm not riding on my outfits to get me through, sheer hard work and skill is what I'm going for!" Praised by judge Alesha Dixon for her first performance, she described Holly as looking 'sensational' and having the 'sexiness down.' With an impressive score from the judges and a positive reaction from the audience, Holly's debut Cha Cha Cha performance was obviously a hit.
With such a gruelling schedule ahead of her, we thought it was only fair to treat Holly to a shopping spree at Gift-Library. At the top of Holly's top picks was a mini pamper package that included a ThisWorks Bath Set, a Cashmere Robe, Slippers, and a Darling Tea cup - the essentials, according to Holly, that are needed to soothe weary muscles after a day's hard training.
With such great first choices it's fair to say that we weren't disappointed with Holly's Gift Library shopping tips. Not only a ballroom dancer in the making, actress, model and singer, but Holly can now add 'expert shopper' to her impressive roster of titles.
