Pennsylvania Car Events
- With dozens of car shows occurring throughout each year, Pennsylvania is a state replete with car enthusiasts and offers plenty of venues to check out some of your favorite vehicles. A handful of annual events dot the Pennsylvanian landscape, and other single-event, classic, antique and hot-rod shows sprout up at various times throughout each year.
- The 2010 Mustang Muscle at Montana West marked the show's fourth year. According to Car Shows Today, the event is open to vehicles that are Ford and non-Ford and will include door prizes, drawing prizes, vendors, over 25 awards, as well as food and ice cream stands. The show takes place at Montana West in Quakertown.
- An annual car event that began in 1983 is Pennsylvania's "Cruise to the Gap" Car Show. The event takes place the Wind Gap Borough Park at Third and Lehigh Street. Unlike other antique, classic and custom car shows, Cruise to the Gap features no judging. Its primary purpose is rather simple to provide an avenue for car lovers to get together and appreciate nice vehicles. The event also offers door prizes, live entertainment, drinks, games and food.
- Due to have its inauguration in March 2011, the Northeast Rod and Custom Car Show seeks to be the foremost car show in the Pennsylvania area, showing a high volume of the best custom vehicles in the area. The show takes place in the town of Oaks, Pennsylvania, at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.
- The New Hope Automobile Show is an annual event that takes place at the New Hope-Solebury High School in New Hope, Pennsylvania, and benefits from the show fund various student scholarships. More than 400 antique and classic cars such as Corvettes, woodies, various Shelby models as well as various car models from the 1920s through the 1970s go on display. Admission to the public is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and free for children 12 years and younger with an adult, as of September 2010.
