Hanging Bell
Beth Peterson, 2009
Low-fire oxidation
Potter's Statement: This bell is not in my favorite color scheme, but I quite like how it came out. It has a nice, clear ring which catches my dog's attention every time. Now that I've made her a dog dish she can't overturn, I'm thinking of hanging it near her food dishes so she can play with it rather than knock her bowls about. (She seemed to simply like the sound they made.)
