How to Get the "Play" Button on Tumblr
- 1). Log into your Tumblr account.
- 2). Click the "Audio" tab on your dashboard (tumblr.com/new/audio).
- 3). Click the "Upload" button to upload a track from your hard drive. You can also select the "Search" tab to browse Soundcloud for available songs, or paste a direct link to an MP3 file hosted elsewhere on the Web.
- 4). Enter a description for the post, or leave the field blank to simply post the music. Click "Create Post." The post will appear on your Tumblr page as a black bar with a "Play" button. Click the button to listen to the file.
