    Eton Academy

    • Located in Birmingham, the Eaton Academy is a private school for grades 1 - 12. Founded in 1980, it was Michigan's first accredited school for students of average or above average academic skill who are dealing with learning challenges such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, AD/HD and processing deficiencies. With a student body of 180, Eaton Academy assists students in coping with their learning challenges by limiting class size to a maximum of 10 students.

    Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor

    • Founded in 1980, the Rudolf Steiner School in Ann Arbor is comprised of lower and upper schools. The lower school hosts students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade and the upper school is for students in grades nine through 12. As part of the Waldorf education system, Rudolf Steiner is a member of a worldwide school network that originated in Europe in 1919. The network's schools educate students in global understanding and use an inter-disciplinary approach to education that includes emotional and moral development.

    The International School

    • Located in Farmington Hills, The International School works with students from junior kindergarten through eighth grade. Its curriculum includes intensive language immersion that begins as early as kindergarten. Through this education structure, students develop fluency in language and gain an understanding of multi-cultural attitudes. With a student-teacher ratio of seven to one, the school supports the development of strong relationships between U.S. and foreign students, bolstering its multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environment.

    Interlochen

    • Interlochen's Arts Academy High School has a specialized focus in arts, featuring academic programs in comparative arts, creative writing, dance, motion picture arts, music, theatre arts and visual arts. The private academy also provides students with an academic curriculum that offers a more holistic approach to learning mathematics, science, English, history and political science, world language, and English as a Second Language.
