How to Clean Window Blinds With Vinegar
- 1). Remove the blinds from the windows. Depending on the style of blinds, the process for this will differ. Put the blinds in a bathtub.
- 2). Fill a bathtub with warm water. You need just enough water to submerge the blinds.
- 3). Pour a gallon of vinegar in the bath water and mix it around with your hand.
- 4). Let the blinds soak for one hour. The acid in the vinegar will naturally remove dirt and dust from the blinds. Scrub any sticky or hard residue off of the blinds with a washcloth.
- 5). Drain the water from the tub once finished cleaning the blinds. Rinse the blinds with cool running water to remove any residual dirt.
- 6). Hang the blinds up to air dry. You can dry the blinds with a towel.
