Affordable Opportunities to Try Favorite Orlando Eateries

The Orlando Main Street Program has organized Orlando Main Street Restaurant Week, which will take place from Saturday, August 1 through Saturday, August 8, 2015. The event aims to promote food service businesses that are members of their location's Main Street district.

How it Works

Orlando Main Street Restaurant Week is a straightforward and convenient concept, allowing people to choose where and when they go without any upfront commitments.

No tickets or passes are required to take advantage of offerings from local restaurants. Participating businesses create prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus at $5, $10, $20 or $30 price points for the duration of the event, and diners go to whichever establishments they like for whichever meal offerings they want.

The format might sound familiar to fans of the Orlando Weekly's Bite30, which just took place in June, or to fans of Visit Orlando's Magical Dining Month, which takes place annually in September.

Citrus (Yes, apparently Citrus is a member of the College Park Main Street district, though it is most certainly not located in College Park, or even close enough to make any sense. If you'd like to go, you'll have better luck looking in the northern part of downtown known as uptown or, more fashionably these days, North Quarter.)
