How to Operate Bushnell Trail Cameras

    • 1). Open the two latches on the right side of the Bushnell trail camera to expose the battery slots.

    • 2). Insert four to eight AA batteries into the appropriate slots. Bushnell suggests using eight lithium batteries for extended battery life.

    • 3). Insert the memory card with the label side facing upward into the card slot until you hear a "click." The memory card slot is located on the bottom of the Bushnell trail camera.

    • 4). Attach the Bushnell trail camera to a tree or post in your desired location using the cable lock, padlock and tree bracket. Make sure the camera is positioned and pointed to an open area where it can detect movement.

    • 5). Move the power switch to the top, or "On," position. The camera will enter the "On" mode.

    • 6). Use the toggle switch system for the initial setup and to make changes to the settings.

    • 7). Follow the initial setup instructions by setting the date, time and camera imaging settings. This allows your Bushnell trail camera to stamp the date and time on every picture.

    • 8). Save any changes made on the menu setup of the camera. The Bushnell trail camera will return to any default settings if you don't save the changes.

    • 9). Set the delay between images. Adjust the delay based on the wildlife activity in your area.
