Remedy to Balance PH Level

    Herbal Remedies

    • Alfalfa has been reported by Ageless Herbs as containing "important enzymes, which assist in good digestion of proteins, fats, starches and sugars" and that it "helps to modify pH levels in the body and lower acidity." Alfalfa can be used in many different ways. It can be bought as a dietary supplement, or alfalfa can be used in different dishes as flavoring. Try to integrate alfalfa into your diet regularly to help keep your pH levels low.

    Food Remedies

    • The easiest way to lower your pH levels is to eat foods that are high in alkaline. Alkaline-rich foods include sunflower sprouts, flax oil, basmati rice, millet, soaked almonds, avocado, vegetable soups and vegetable juices. These foods are also very high in fiber, which helps with digestion and keeps your body functioning regularly.

Any fresh vegetable, especially the green veggies, help lower the pH level quickly. If you cannot fit the recommended five servings of vegetables into your diet every day, you can get concentrated fruit drinks and vegetable powders to lower your pH level. Not only will your pH level lower, but you will be getting vital vitamins and nutrients as a result.

    Supplements

    • There are many different kinds of pH balancing supplements on the market. Candidate (see Resources) states that it helps the body "maintain balance of systemic Candida (yeast) levels...maintain(s) balance (of) pH levels in the body...maintain(s) balanced sugar levels..." and many more. Buffer pH (see Resources) makes similar claims, stating that it helps to "promote tissue repair and cleansing" by balancing the pH level in your body.

Acid 2 Alkaline (see Resources) states that it is "100% natural" and "made from whole food ingredients" and that it "helps maintain that (pH) balance when it is difficult to get to an alkaline state." These supplements are available online (see Resources) and are also available at any herbal supplement store. All of these supplements should be just that: supplements. They should never replace real alkaline producing foods in your diet, but simply exist to help boost your alkaline levels along with alkaline producing foods.
