How to Connect Flexible Pipe
- 1). Loosen the metal straps on each end of the flexible pipe by turning the screws counter-clockwise.
- 2). Wet around each cut in the existing pipeline where the flexible pipe will be installed.
- 3). Push one end of the flexible pipe onto one of the cut ends of the existing pipe. The flexible pipe may have to be bent a little to achieve this. Move the flexible pipe down the existing pipe to the extent that the other end of the flexible pipe is in line with the other existing cut pipe.
- 4). Push the flexible pipe in the other direction, so that both existing pipe ends are now covered by the flexible pipe. Move the flexible pipe along in the same direction to the extent that both existing cut pipe ends are equally covered by the flexible pipe.
- 5). Tighten the metal straps on each end of the flexible pipe by turning the screws clockwise. The flexible pipe is now secured to the existing pipeline.
