- 1). Movietickets.com and Fandango specialize in movie trailers and movie tickets. Create an account at either site. The sites will ask for your location and a movie name, then it will produce a list of local theaters and times for that film. The services accept credit card payments, and the tickets can be printed out at home.
- 2). Go directly to the website of the movie theater you wish to attend. If it is part of a national chain, it should have a link high on the home page for the movie names and the dates the film will be shown at that theater. The site will say what tickets are available for those dates. Click on the movie name to begin the order process.
- 3). Go the theater box office in person. Any films the theater can put on sale will be available, and you can get the physical ticket at that time. This may be necessary for small, independent houses not connected to the online ticketing systems.
