How to Use the Controls on Hot Tubs and Spas
Instructions
1Use the arrow buttons on the temperature display of your hot tub or spa controls to adjust the temperature. Commonly, hot tubs are near 100 degrees Fahrenheit. However, you should avoid bumping the temperature up more than a few degrees at a time. This will prevent the water from getting too hot.
2
Learn how to lock the panel on the controls of your hot tub. This prevents anyone but you from changing the settings. Children playing with the hot tub controls can be dangerous and guests changing your settings can get annoying. Locking the controls is generally as simple as pressing a button. A code will then unlock the controls.
3
Look over the fault display on your spa or hot tub periodically. The fault display is the part of the controls that tells you if there are any problems you should be concerned about. It tells you what information to provide the manufacturer in order to resolve the problem, often right over the phone.
4
Check out the remote control for your hot tub or spa. In addition to a control panel on the tub or nearby, many also come with a remote control. The features of the remote control are often the same as the control panel and just as easy to use.
