Located west of Austin and just north of San Antonio, the Texas Hill Country might seem like it belongs more in Europe than in Texas. The colorful, lush green hills that fill this area provide opportunities for culture and beautiful sights all at once. Enjoy the wineries that dot the landscape -- there are 22 in the Texas Hill Country -- or visit some of the many food and music festivals occurring throughout the year. The breathtaking beauty of the area, complemented by the many attractions and things to do, make this a fun place to see. - More than 750 islands fill this region of the Pacific Coast off Washington State; only 40 are inhabited, and ferry services travel to just three of them. Visit Orcas Island, considered the most beautiful of all the islands, and stand on top of Mount Constitution to see as far as Mount Rainier and Vancouver, British Columbia. If you go, take the ferries around the islands. Although commuters and other travelers use them, it is also the best way to take in the full impact of these islands.

Long known as one of the most fun locations in the United States, Las Vegas provides something for everyone.
