  The colors you choose for your craft room should reflect who you are as a person and an artist. This is the room you will go to for inspiration and to summon your creativity, so it should be somewhere that's very "you." If you know you want to use a funky color scheme for your room, consider using bright paint colors with bright accents to give your room a fun and playful look.
  
  

Turquoise

• Turquoise is a fun color that will lift any mood. Turquoise looks pretty with a variety of colors, making it part of a versatile color palette. One fun way to use turquoise is to use it as a paint color for your walls, and then add other brightly colored accents. Use golds, pinks, reds, or greens in curtains, picture frames, and other accents in the room. White furniture gives the room a brighter look and helps to draw together all of the colors. Fill a white shelving unit with brightly colored books, and clear vases filled with brightly colored buttons, beads, and ribbons. Display your scrapbook or craft paper out in the open on a white paper holder, which will help to incorporate more color in your room. Use this policy with any bright colored crafting supplies you have like ribbons and colored pencils.
  
  

Orange

• Orange can be combined with browns, blues and gold tones to give your room a retro feel. Paint one accent wall in a 1970s orange color, and the rest in a neutral beige or off white color. Add retro patterns, such as paisley, large flowers, or geometric shapes in the form of stencils, artwork, and curtains or throw pillows. Find bowls and vases from secondhand stores that also have a retro look, like a chunky ashtray or an oddly shaped bowl. Find vintage-looking clocks to hang on the wall, and frame old advertisements from the 70s or before to add an extra touch to the walls.
  
  

Black and White

• Black and white is a very bold and funky color palette that can be dressed up for different looks. Paint one wall in chunky black and white vertical stripes. Add a bright pink chandelier to immediately give the room an elegant look. Add pink touches throughout the room in forms of bowls, vases, artwork, and curtains. If you want more color, combine the black and white with a variety of different colors. Keep the walls white and add a black stencil, then include touches of turquoise, red, purple, green, or any other color you like. Similarly to the turquoise room, display colorful buttons, ribbons, and craft supplies in clear vases to add to the look.
