11 acne remedies using household ingredients

6.A paste of salt and vinegar should be rubbed on the pimples and washed off after half an hour using lukewarm water. As salt is an antiseptic, it helps in treating your acne problem.

7.Similarly, as turmeric is also an antiseptic, make a paste of turmeric powder and mint juice to apply on the affected area. Leave it on for half and hour, and wash off using lukewarm water. You will experience lots of relief from your acne problem with this home remedy.

8.Acne is not only treated, but is also prevented with the application of fresh mint juice on the face every night.

9.A paste of neem leaves and turmeric powder should be applied on the affected area and washed off with lukewarm water after half an hour. This is a very good and effective cure for acne.

10.Regular application of a mixture of groundnut oil and equal quantity of fresh lime juice helps in the prevention and treatment of acne and blackheads. It should be left on for about fifteen minutes and then washed away.

11.Apply a paste of sandalwood and rose water on the pimples and leave it on for about half an hour. Wash off with lukewarm water to experience some relief from your acne problem.
