99 Coachman RV Specs

    • The 1999 Coachman RV is a full-size recreational vehicle. A slide out on the left side of the RV provides extra space for the dining room and kitchen when the RV is parked. The two captain's chairs at the front of the RV can be turned to face the rear of the RV while at a campsite. The 1999 Coachman RV is designed to comfortably sleep four to five passengers.

    Interior Amenities

    • A three-burner range unit is provided for a cooking surface in the 1999 Coachman RV. Depending on the options selected at the time of the sale, the range may also have an oven directly underneath. A range hood is positioned over the cooking area to provide ventilation. The range is operated with LP gas, so care should be taken to ensure the gas is turned off when the burners aren't lit. A microwave oven and fridge complete the kitchen appliances available. The LP furnace onboard the 1999 Coachman RV makes camping in cold weather comfortable. The furnace has an automatic ignition that will ignite the pilot light anytime the temperature in the RV falls below the setting specified on the wall thermostat. During warm weather, the RV is kept cool by the roof-mounted air conditioner. The air conditioner requires a 120-volt electricity supply to operate.

    Utility Systems

    • The 1999 Coachman RV has two electrical systems installed. One system is a 12-volt direct current system. The other electrical system is 120-volt alternating current. The 12-volt system is powered by the batteries that are onboard the RV and requires that the engine be running to keep from wearing the batteries down. The 120-volt system is activated when the RV is parked and can be connected to electrical hookups. Water for the RV comes either through a fresh water connection at a campsite or the fresh water tank. A 12-volt demand pump sends water from the fresh water tank to the faucets. A water heater fueled by LP gas provides hot water for showers. Sewer or waste water holding tanks are also a part of the 1999 Coachman RV utilities. The waste water holding tank is slightly larger than the fresh water tank. The waste water tank will collect anything that is either flushed or run down the drains of the RV.

    Safety

    • The 1999 Coachman RV has smoke detectors that are wired into the electrical system and have battery backup power. This means that the smoke detector is active whether the motor of the RV is running or not. The main breaker of the Coachman RV will trip and open the circuit if there has been an increased electrical pulse that could cause damage to the electrical components of the RV. LP tank storage is provided outside of the RV living quarters to prevent LP gas from leaking in. The valves on the LP gas tanks are equipped to release small amounts of gas if pressure increases inside the tank.
