    • In most cities across the United States, there is a Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The SBDC is funded by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and has resources available to the public for starting and operating a business. The SDBC is staffed with consultants, market research specialists and administrators that can help develop business and marketing plans and business counseling. Many SBDC offices have agreements with local college business departments to provide extra resources for business research.
