Book Review - "The Journey For Kids" By Brandon Bays
Brandon Bays' second book is dedicated to liberating your child's shining potential, as it says in the subtitle.
This book includes real-life accounts of children's healing stories and how to apply the Journey process with your children.
Summary 'The Journey for Kids' is Brandon's second book.
After her bestselling hit 'The Journey' people started using the process in her book with children.
Brandon witnessed many exceptional healing stories in which parents, teachers and caregivers assisted their children to release fears, phobias, pain and emotional hurt from bullying, just to name a few examples.
More in details Similar to her first book Brandon uses many real-life examples to teach us how we can assist children in reaching their potential.
This is an easy to read book, which is meant for adults, however I had also many teenagers really enjoy it and getting great benefits out of it.
This book is a gem of stories of children, which will move you deeply.
It is full of hope and a really touching collection of how adults have used the tools of this healing modality to help their children.
In comparison to adults it becomes clear that children have less internal avoidances to go about an inner journey, a visualization to uncover where the hurt from a past experience might be buried.
At the end of the book Brandon even includes the wording of the process, both for children between the age of five to seven and another process for children between eight and twelve.
The difference is just that the Journey for the smaller kids is like a bedtime story, introducing a little hero with whom we accompany through his travel inside the body.
The Journey for the bigger kids involves them uncovering their own blocks and lets them take the position of the hero throughout the story.
The process in itself is easy and effective.
Once the children know the story they have been found to do the process on each other out of their memory without having to read it.
About the author Brandon Bays is originally American and has been living in the United Kingdom for the past many years.
Since she wrote 'The Journey' and before she has been teaching her method to people from all walks of life on 5 continents.
Every year she visits another country to teach her modality of healing.
Before 'The Journey for Kids' she has written 'The Journey', which outlines the basis of her work and the process used with adults.
She has currently written four books in total, published various CDs, DVDs and is holding Satsang via the Internet.
You can even find her posting regularly on Facebook nowadays! Recommendation Having personally trained with Brandon Bays I can tell from my personal experience that she is extremely energetic, enigmatic, dynamic and full of life.
She is teaching using lots of examples and instills the belief that we can heal.
She has inspired me in many ways and I have found personal healing from dermatitis, which at that stage I was managing for 35 years.
If you are in any way a part of a child's life as a parent, teacher, grandparent, caregiver or sibling then this is a really good read for you.
