Party Bags For Children"s Birthday Parties - Some Advice

Everyone loves a party, especially children.
They are landmark events.
When it comes to organising a birthday party there are many things to consider such as the number of guests and location, but in this article I will focus solely on the topic of party bags.
With a little effort and for very little cost you can organise unique and attractive loot bags that the guests will love.
It all depends on what you are comfortable with.
Some parents are talented when it comes to arts and crafts whilst other prefer the pre-filled option.
My advise is do what you are comfortable with.
Be yourself.
Once you have decided whether you are going to make or buy the going home presents the following is my advice.
1.
Nearly all parties are based on a particular theme.
For example pirates and princess parties are very popular.
The loot bag should be consistent with the theme.
For example at one party my son attended the going home present was a pirate mug with some pencils and erasers wrapped in a plain cellophane party bag and tied with balloon ribbon.
2.
Some parents include a craft activity within the party.
This can be a great idea but I would not do it with children under the age of 5 as they can need a great deal of help.
Older kids tend to be more self sufficient.
The craft activity does not need to be complicated but make sure you have adult help available.
The output from the craft activity can be incorporated into the going home present.
3.
There is a DIY option for nearly everything these days and party bags are no different.
For creative parents it can be a real pleasure to sit down with the birthday boy/ girl and make individual party bags.
It can be as simple as a brown paper bag decorated with sequences and stickers.
A label can be added with the guests name.
4.
For well organised parents who plan in advance shopping for party bag presents can be a bit of fun.
Not all of us have the time or inclination but looking in discount shops in the weeks leading up to the party can yield spectacular results.
Fashion items, toy soldiers, footballs etc can all be purchased at significant discounts.
5.
When it comes to party bags, think presentation.
Don't go for quantity or feel that you must spend a certain amount.
Think instead about how to present the going home present.
Wrap up party bag presents nicely and you will find that even simple presents will delight the children.
In summary, organising a birthday party for your child can be very time consuming and there are many things to remember.
Party bags are only one element but nonetheless are very.
My advice is be organised, be yourself and above all keep it simple.
