We finished off our trip by watching a light and sound show in the Malinta Tunnel. The tunnel was originally conceived as storage space for the occupying American forces, then became a shelter and hospital for the surviving American forces fighting against the Japanese invasion. Commonwealth President Manuel Quezon and US Army General Douglas McArthur made Malinta Tunnel their last stop before retreating for Australia.
