- 1). Before applying epoxy paint, dry the surface you will be painting with your mop or paper towels. Make sure there is no moisture present on the surface at all.
- 2). Apply the epoxy to the surface you just dried. Make sure your paint is mixed well before doing this to avoid it bubbling or clotting together.
- 3). Leave your newly epoxy-painted surface to dry. Make sure no one touches it during this time. Allow at least four hours to dry.
- 4). Depending on the kind of surface you are painting, you may need to apply a second coat to improve the color.
- 5). Apply a thin layer of varnish to your finished product to give it a shine and less-slippery seal.
