The Goizueta Business School offers PhD programs in Business Administration. The doctoral programs offered through the Goizueta Business School are full-time, four-year programs in accounting, finance, information systems, marketing and organization and management. The Goizueta Business School rarely accepts graduate credits from other doctoral programs. Scholarships and stipends are awarded to most students during the first four years of their studies, provided they are in good standing and making satisfactory progress. In 2010, the annual stipend offered by the Goizueta Business School was $24,000. Beginning in the second year, students provide 10 hours per week of research or teaching assistance to assigned faculty. The Goizueta Business School has a research budget for Ph.D students to be used for research support including data collection, books and travel. For students who have completed their exams and need additional dissertation support, the Goizueta Business School offers the Sheth Research Fund. Other fellowships and scholarships for specialized purpose may also be available to students in the doctorate program.
