Microsoft and Tor Books today announced a publishing agreement that will see the release of three novels based on the world of Perfect Dark. The first noveol, Perfect Dark: Initial Vector, will be available on October 4th and will be authored by Greg Rucka, acclaimed thriller novelist and commonly considered to be one of the "Big Three" writers at DC Comics.

Perfect Dark Zero will launch alongside the Xbox 360 in November and the first PD book, Perfect Dark: Initial Vector, will be released on October 4th.
