Almost Free - Vacations With Your Grandkids

I remember when I was younger I saw whole families go on vacation together.
Parents with their grown children and grandchildren and I remember thinking how expensive it must be to take your whole family on a vacation like that.
Since we bought our timeshare we've been able to do just that.
We have 5 grown children and 2 grandchildren and they are spread out all over the country.
We are lucky enough to be able to see them a couple of times per year.
But with our timeshare we're able to get together in all kinds of locations all over the world.
Inviting our kids and grandkids to meet us in St.
Thomas or Hawaii is like a dream come true.
How wonderful to be able to go to these exotic dream vacations and to be able to share it with your family.
We make our plans for the vacation and then we invite the kids to join us.
They love it and for them it's very cheap since all they have to worry about it airfare.
Imagine being able to give your son or daughter a wonderful honeymoon in a tropical vacation spot.
Or bringing the whole family to a destination wedding.
Those can be pretty pricey without a timeshare.
With your timeshare you usually have the choice of studio, one bedroom, 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom condo.
These condos have all the amenities.
TV in every room.
Full kitchen, washer & dryer right in your room.
No more going home and having to do your laundry.
Just come home and hang up your clothes.
Most timeshare companies have their own travel agency and when you call you can usually book your airline and car rental all in one place.
And if you have enough points you can usually convert the extra points to airfare and car rental.
You can also convert your condo points to a cruise.
The possibilities are endless.
Just look through the company's resort directory and pick out your location.
There are lots of pics and descriptions with little icons telling you what amenities are available at each resort.
While you're on your vacation the resorts usually have cocktail parties and other events for the owners to get together and meet each other.
They also will usually offer many discounts and amenities to local attractions if you're willing to view the presentation again.
Depending on how long your stay is you may want to take advantage of that.
They usually last a few hours, but if you can save 50% on local tours and attractions you may feel that it's worth it.
Keep in mind, it will be more high pressure, just like the first time, but if you're honest with them and tell them you just want the freebies, they may not want to waste their time on you and just give you the freebies.
So invite the kids.
Let 'em bring the kidlets and enjoy the wonderful warm memories you're creating with your family.
