Each Spring the Arizona Game and Fish Department hosts the very popular outdoor experience, the Outdoor Expo.

What is Arizona Game and Fish Department Outdoor Expo?

The Arizona Game and Fish Department Outdoor Expo is a hands-on outdoor experience where people of all ages can participate in activities, see exhibits and attend educational presentations relating to Arizona's wildlife, nature, hunting, camping, boating and recreational target shooting, archery, offroading and fishing.

Hands-on activities include huge fishing tanks, a kayaking tank, target archery and other shooting sports. Try specialty shooting disciplines like clay target, cowboy action, practical pistol, black powder, and air gun. All shooting activities take place in a supervised, safe environment. Watch the cowboy mounted shooting competition. See OHV and ATV exhibits. Hike a field course and learn  camping tips. Learn about boating and boat safety. See wildlife. Visit with more than 150 exhibitors, including outdoor recreation and conservation groups, government agencies, and commercial vendors of outdoor products and services.

Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How do I get tickets and how much are they?

There are no tickets. Admission is free. Parking is free. Most activities are free (there is a small charge for ammunition used for certain shooting sports and instruction).

What else should I know?

Bring your own equipment if you have it, or you may borrow equipment at the Expo. This is a family-friendly event!

No Arizona tax dollars are used to present this event. Arizona Game and Fish, and the Ben Avery Shooting Facility, are funded by user fees (on days other than on Expo days), fishing and hunting licenses, grants and receives some financial support from the Heritage Fund (Arizona Lottery receipts).
