Many of the easy trails are suitable for families, including Onion Creek Trail, Hey Joe Canyon and Kane Creek Canyon. More experienced drivers may prefer the more difficult trails, such as Cliff Hangers, Hell's Revenge and Moab Rim. Dan Mick offers both half day and overnight tours. Prices vary by season and difficulty.

    • The Arches Fiery Furnace Hike is a guided hike in Arches National Park. An experienced guide leads hikers on a two-hour climb to such attractions as the Twin Arches and the Surprise Arches. The trail is not marked, and twists and turns through towers and spires, so an experienced guide is necessary. The hike is moderately difficult and can be performed by anyone in decent physical condition. As of 2011, the tour is $79 for adults and $59 for children.

    • The Arches Sunset Bus Tour takes visitors on a relaxing ride through Arches National Park. This tour is suitable for everyone, including children and the elderly. A professional guide drives you through the park, passing sights such as Balanced Rock, Petrified Towers, La Sal Mountains and Courthouse Towers. Stops along the route allow for short guided hikes to Turret Arch, the Window Arches and Delicate Arch Overlook. The tour ends with sunset views of the La Sal Mountains. As of 2011, the tour is $69 for adults and $46 for children.

    • Adrift Adventures offers brave visitors guided whitewater rafting, horseback and ATV tours through Moab. The professional ATV guide takes you through sand dunes, gullies and washes. Tours are available for anyone, novice or expert. Horseback tours are available for half-day or two-day trips. The half-day trip takes you through Canyonlands National Park, past canyons and rock formations. The two-day trip takes you to the La Sal Mountains, where wildlife and plant life are abundant. Adrift's most popular tours involve whitewater rafting. Guides take you down the Colorado River through Class 3 and 4 rapids, pointing out wildlife and interesting sights along the way. Tours vary in price.
