Arrest Warrants

Arrest warrants are courts documents which are made when a person is suspected of committing a crime, which authorize law enforcement agencies to arrest them.
These records are stored in the local courthouses, and they are public records which means that anybody can access them for legitimate reasons, as long as they are not being used for illegal purposes.
For serious crimes, the records will be stored in the state Supreme Court.
Some other legitimate uses that they can use these records for include to do a background check and to locate missing people, such as bail skip traces.
Whatever your personal reasons for checking the arrest warrants, you will need to go through the same procedure.
Normally this involves contacting or visiting each of courthouses and requesting copies of any active arrest warrants that are filed under the name of the person you checking.
This will usually involve a small administrative fee as well as cost to cover photocopying and mailing.
This is a truly time-consuming, and the Internet and computers give us a better way of solving the problem.
That is to use a special website which combines court records and other public records from each state into a single database which you can then search in order to get your results quickly.
An additional benefit of using one of these websites is that the data that you find to see more of a complete background picture person you are checking up on as it includes information from many different record sources.
