Use Facebook to Approach and Talk to Girls

Lots of guys find it easier to talk to girls online than it is in person. It's possible to find cool chicks online, but you have to approach it correctly or else you'll just look like a weirdo. Here are some tips to help to meet girls online.

Don't contact girls out of nowhere unless you're using a dating site. Chicks on myspace and facebook mainly go there to socialize with their friends: they aren't in the mindset to get pickedup or chat with strangers. Therefore, your chances of rejection when talking to complete strangers on social sites is pretty high. There are a few exceptions to this method:

Girls who you share common interests and groups with are generally okay to contact. Just be sure that you're talking to them about something you have in common rather than dropping a €Hey, what's up? You're cute.€ type comment.

If you've meet a chick at a party or through a friend, then it's usually alright to get in touch with her online and start talking to her. It's always a good idea to add a €we met at xxx party€ note to the friend request so she knows you're not just some random guy. If the chick says she doesn't remember you, then be warned that it might only be partially true: some girls love to use this excuse to fend off guys that they aren't really interested in.

No matter what your approach to talking to girls online may be, you'll want to try and move things into real life as soon as possible. Online relationships are cool, but is that really what you want? If you get stuck in €online friend€ mode, then the chances of developing a real romance with the chick later on are basically gone.

Be very careful when trying to move the relationship into real life: women are naturally extra-protective with guys they meet online. For the first few meetings, you'll want to plan something in a public area and probably during the day, just to make her feel comfortable and show that you aren't some online freak.

After the first few meetings, it may be tempting to keep up the online contact, but if you want to have a real relationship, don't be afraid to use the phone. You shouldn't cut her off completely online, but it's usually a good idea to tone down the level of communication and gradually phase it out once you know how to talk to girls.
