Alibaug, or Alibag, is a coastal town situated in the Konkan region of Maharashtra in India. A popular getaway for residents of nearby Mumbai, the town is close to numerous historic towns, temples and forts, among other attractions. The town features a Jewish synagogue as it is in the historic back-country of Bene Israeli Jews.
