2012 and Celestial Events

Our trek across the universe is described as a circular path that carries us through the 12 well-known zodiac signs.
The end of the current world age, which began on August 11, 3114 BC, is signaled by the rare alignment of our solar system with the core of the Milky Way galaxy on December 21, 2012.
The last time this occurred was approximately 26,000 years ago.
It was then that we began the journey that carries us through the celestial path of all 12 signs of the zodiac, starting with the age of Aquarius.
As we cross the threshold of the Milky Way's equator in the December 21, 2012 time frame, we complete one processional year of all 12 zodiac constellations and begin the next.
When this alignment happens, our Solar System, with the Sun in the center, will eclipse the view from Earth, of the center of the Milky Way.
Mayan astronomers considered this center spot to be the Milky Way's womb, a belief now supported by extensive evidence that this is where the galaxy's stars are created.
Astronomers now surmise that there is a black hole right at the center sucking up the matter, energy and time that will serve as raw materials for the creation of future stars.
What this means is that whatever energy typically streams to Earth from the center point of the Milky Way will be disrupted on December 21, 2012, for the first time in 26000 years.
The Maya believe that our being even briefly cut off from the emanations from the center of the galaxy will throw out of kilter vital mechanisms of our bodies and of the Earth.
It remains to be seen whether this is will be a good thing or a bad thing.
One thing is for sure, it is an exciting time to be a part of.
