    National Forensic Academy

    • The National Forensic Academy (NFA) is a 10-week training program in association with the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service and the Law Enforcement Innovation Center (LEIC). NFA was funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, and participants are required to complete 400 training hours per session. Areas of training include DNA, latent fingerprint processing, trace evidence, death investigation, forensic anthropology, crime scene management and more.
