    College of Aeronautics Scholarships

    • Florida Tech's College of Aeronautics has dedicated a page to scholarships, with six total,for students planning an aviation career. The National Aircraft Finance Association Scholarship has an annual deadline of April 1st and is offered through the National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA) to students seeking a business career in corporate aviation. The Dan L. Meisinger Sr. Memorial Scholarship is designated for college students to attend flight training in the amount of $2,500. The Florida Spaceport Chapter of the Ninety-Nines, Inc. Scholarship is for female pilots in the amount of $1,500. The Michelin Careers in Aviation Scholarship is for $1,000 to students with a 3.0 GPA who complete an education in aerospace. Service Member Scholarships are for students who are in the military, have been in the military or are the children of veterans. The Commissary Scholarship for Military Families is specifically for children of military members in the amount of $1,500.

    SSEF Florida Institute of Technology Scholarship

    • Offered by the State Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF), the Florida Institute of Technology Scholarship is granted to one student per each of the 13 academic categories offered at the school, in the amount of $10,000 per academic year for four years, a total of $40,000. Applicants must be full-time and degree- seeking. They must apply through the SSEF website, and winners will be selected by judges.

    Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program

    • The state of Florida sponsors its Florida Tech Bright Futures Scholarship Program for students that have graduated from high school, maintained a GPA of 3.0 or above and achieved the minimum passing scores on the ACT or SAT exams. Students must be enrolled in the college but can be part-time or full-time, and funds are based on a flat cost per credit hour during the academic year(s) of the award.
