Systemic Enzymes

Systemic Enzymes refer to those that function throughout the whole body.
These types of enzymes are not restricted to a single system or organ within the body.
Enzymes are normally associated with the digestion of food but they are also responsible for numerous other tasks such as breaking up circulating immune complexes in the blood stream and preventing too much fibrin being deposited in fractures, joints and wounds.
However, when aging begins to set in between 27-35 years of age, the body begins to produce fewer enzymes that dissolve proteins.
Therefore, as we grow older we become more vulnerable to a wider range of medical problems but this can be reduced with the use of enzyme therapy.
Proteolytic enzymes, which are used in enzyme therapy, can dissolve fibrin.
Hence, this enzyme has been shown to effectively digest scar tissue over a period of time.
When tissues contain too much fibrin they become weak since they prevent the growth of epithelial tissue that normally grows through the fibrin matrix and provide the necessary strength.
When tissues associated with joints have excess fibrin they tend to restrict the movement and when they are associated with the internal organs, and then tend to have a diminished size and function.
One of the major advantages of systemic enzymes is that it does not involve any side effects.
Typical dosage can start with one potent enzyme pill taken, taken thrice a day, 45 minutes before or after meals.
This dosage can then be raised by three pills daily over the next few days until the desired effect is achieved.
In fact, a person who was given more than 3700 enzyme pills suffered nothing more than diarrhea.
However, systemic enzymes can accelerate the actions of blood thinning drugs.
Hence, people on anti-coagulant drugs or people with hemophilia could experience significantly more bleeding with enzyme therapy and should avoid it.
Enzyme treatments have numerous benefits including the following •Anti-inflammatory action: Vitalzyme+, which is a unique proteolytic that is isolated from non-pathogenic enterobacteria Serratia E15.
In addition, to reducing inflammation it also helps filter viruses, balance the immune system and remove various toxins from the blood stream.
•Action against Malignancies: Large dosages of enzymes have been known to prolong survival in the case of malignancies.
Cancer cells are surrounded by fibrin layers that are about 15 times thicker than the fibrin layers around normal cells.
Systemic enzymes work to remove the fibrin layer and allow the immune cells to destroy the cancer cells.
•Action against clotting: Since exaggerated clotting caused by infections can leave the body vulnerable to hemorrhage and restrict clotting substances where they are really needed.
Systemic enzymes work to reduce blood clots caused by infections by working against fibrin.
•Action against bacterial and viral infections: Certain infections become active after lying dormant within the body for years.
Proteolytic enzymes work against this threat by severing the connection between viruses and normal cells.
To effectively recover from a viral infection enzymes will have to be administered before the infection reaches its peak.
