How to Download My Own Music to an LG TU500
- 1). Insert a microSD memory card into your LG TU500 handset if you have not already done so. With the phone turned off, open the LG TU500's back cover and lift the battery. Slide the microSD memory card into the memory card slot. Replace the battery and back cover.
- 2). Push the "Power" key to turn on the LG TU500.
- 3). Insert the large end of the LG TU500 USB data adapter into the cell phone's data port. Insert the USB end of the adapter into an available USB port on your computer. Wait for your computer to recognize the LG TU500 as a connected device. Click "Cancel" on the Hardware Wizard if it pops up.
- 4). Open the folder containing the MP3 or AAC music files you wish to transfer onto the LG TU500.
- 5). Open the LG TU500's device icon in a separate file manager window.
- 6). Drag and drop your MP3 or AAC music files from their original file manager window into the LG TU500's open window.
- 7). Push the "Right Soft Key" on the LG TU500 to disconnect the device from your computer. Right-click the device icon and select "Safely Remove Device" to confirm the disconnection from your computer. Remove the LG TU500's USB adapter from both the cell phone and computer.
