Bath Drain Cleaning

    • 1). Use a liquid cleaner, the thicker the consistency of the cleaner, the better. Pour the liquid cleaner down your bath drain and it will dissolve hair, soap scum and other substances that may be clogging your bath drain. The liquid cleaner will also help soften the bio film deposits on the insides of your pipes that cause clogging.

    • 2). Use a foaming drain cleaner for further help in dissolving bio film deposits inside your bath drain. The foam will fill the insides of your bath pipes and eat away at the bio film buildups inside of them that the liquid cleaner leaves untouched.

    • 3). Use an enzyme cleaning product to prevent clogs in a drain that feeds into a septic system. The chemicals in liquid cleaners can disrupt the balance of a septic system by killing helpful bacteria in the septic tank. Rather than removing bio-film, enzyme cleaning products will prevent it from forming.
