How To Apply For A Japanese Visa in the Philippines 1.
Complete all the necessary documents.
2.
Submit your visa application with all the necessary documents (original unless otherwise stated) to an accredited travel agency.
Please refer to the list of accredited agencies mentioned below.
Among the 6 agencies, only 5 agencies can accept all kinds of applications.
Pan Pacific Travel Corporation cannot accept applications with documents written in Japanese (koseki tohon / family registration, juminhyo / residence certificate, invitation letter written in Japanese, etc.
) (Note) A handling fee will be collected by the agents in accordance with the fees set by each agent.
The Japanese Embassy does not meddle with the handling fees being charged by the accredited agencies.

Depending on the purpose of your travel, visa application process generally takes 1-2 weeks.
If necessary, you may be asked to submit additional documents.

Upon confirmation with your accredited agency that your passport and visa is ready for pick-up, head to their office and pick-up the same.
Notes: 1.
Applicant may be required to appear in person for interview.
2.
If the Japanese embassy requires, applicant is given 3 months to submit additional documents.
Otherwise, application will be terminated.
3.
When Visa is granted, VISA FEE is Gratis (Free).
4.
When visa is not granted, the reason/s for denial will not be disclosed by the Japanese Embassy.
Applicant may apply again after 6 months with the same purpose, unless for emergency/humanitarian reasons or applying for a different purpose.
