How to Make a V6 Mustang Run Like a Civic

1). Install a Civic style X pipe in the exhaust. According to mustang50magazine.com, a common change over for the Mustang is to install an upgraded Factory H pipe or move to an X pipe. American Muscle employee Erik recently stated in the American Muscle blog that using an X pipe would yield "Euro" style exhaust notes which are similar to the exhaust notes of a Civic.
2). Install an after market set of mufflers. Large, loud and free flowing mufflers are a big part of the Honda Civic feel and performance.
3). Install a Euro style body kit. There are various Euro-style body kits and various levels of kits for Mustangs that will give your Mustang that Honda Civic look.
4). Install aftermarket wheels and tires. A tuned Honda Civic will usually have larger rims and low profile tires. This is a big part of a Euro-styled vehicle and the Mustang does not come equipped with rims or ties that would suit a Honda Civic.
