Termites are a group of insects consisting of 2,500 species of which 300 are considered pests. Termites are one of the most damaging pests in the tropics and can cause considerable problems in housing.
There are 2500 species of termites including subterranean termites, Thompson termites Termopsidae, hototermitidae, kalotermitidae, seritermitidae, etc.
There are several families and sub-families. Some have nests underground, others in wood, for example hollow trees, and some build mounds.
Termites are causing severe damages to buildings and constructions and structures all Over the world and now days it is a great problem to the industry.
Termites feed on cellulose, paper, plywood, cloths, bamboo, furniture, wood etc. Which are prone and very sensitive for termite attacks.
Besides making tiny ways through the walls and structures, making the structure weak. Termites enter through the foundation. Hence, it is most important to have preventive measures.

A typical termite colony can number 300,000 to 3,000,000 workers. Think in terms of a 200 liters drum full of squirming grains of rice… that's a small colony.

Signs of termite Infestation
Check that there whether there are termite tubes in the building, specifically below the
stair case, storage units, any where on the walls. Termite tubes Looks like as below.

Check if there is damage made by termites .
Check hollow areas in walls and wood by hammer as below.
If it seems as hollow and sounds as BUDD .
If these signs are there, then there is termite infestation in your building
Steps to take for termite treatment.
1) Remove termite tubes by scrapper or any tool such as screw driver
2) Spray anti termite chemical on affected areas by pump
3) Spray anti termite chemical on all wooden areas.
4) Remove affected wood and spay Termisolve BPR0
5) Make drill holes of 10 mm diameter to the junction of walls and floor.
6) Make holes at the distance of one foot.
7) Holes must be made internally and externally to ground floor
8) Make holes internally to all walls including staircase.
Drill holes
9) Now inject anti termite chemical through these holes by syringe or spray pump.
10) Inject six times at the interval of 3-4 days.
11) Spray anti termite chemical on all wooden articles.
12)Make drill holes at door frame bottom also and treat them 6 times.
Never forget that the said procedure must be carried out minimum six times.
Finally check that if there are LIVE Termites.
After the total procedure close/ fill the drill holes by cement or filler.
