The Beauty Of Marriage
One of the most beautiful institutions devised by man, is the institution of marriage.
Marriage is truly a most wonderful thing.
Unfortunately, Civilization and liberalization, has robbed man of the true meaning of marriage.
Marriage is the union of a man and woman as husband and wife.
As we continued to advance, society began to play down the sanctity of marriage.
We began to delude our self into believing that it's okay not to get married or to divorce at the slightest sign of trouble.
Why do we all walk today? Sounds silly, but wait..
we didn't just start walking the moment we were born.
We all started by taking little shaky steps under the watchful eyes of our mum.
Mothers don't give up on their kids, just because they keep falling while learning to walk..
Ah! magic formula! No wonder almost everyone walks.
Marriage should not be an exception.
No marriage starts perfectly with no problems.
Show me any wonderful marriage today, and I will show you two people who know how to work out problems.
Every marriage has it's own share of problems.
You can never expect two people from different backgrounds, to always get along on everything.
Even identical twins, quarrel and disagree on many issues.
I have been married for three years now, and it has been a wonderful experience.
I had felt every kind of emotion I can think of, happiness, sadness, bliss, joy, anger, bitterness, name it.
And I have loved every moment of it.
For once, I have someone who can talk to me, of issues that no other person can ever talk about.
Someone who will point out my numerous faults, without thinking about the consequences.
I hem and haw, but at the back of my mind, am glad that i have a true friend in my wife.
Marriage is the only way, that one can effectively multiply himself.
For instance, I run my own business.
When i got married, my wife decided to join me.
Prior to her coming, I had lost fortunes to bad management.
Since my wife joined me, she took the business like her own.
Overnight, my business became stronger.
I could now travel to anywhere, knowing fully well that my wife is in charge, and on top of the situation.
Am now more effective, because I can now focus my energy on more important matters.
Society today has thoroughly reduced the beauty of marriage to mere tolerance.
The rate of divorce keeps climbing yearly.
It pains me, as I see many wonderful couples giving up on their marriage, even without considering the effects of their actions on their kids.
