Nightclubs in Japan

    Club Pure

    • Club Pure is one of the trendiest nightspots among the young, attractive clubbers in the city of Osaka. Music at the club ranges from hip-hop to cheesy pop, depending on the night. Visitors can check the website to find out what genre of music is planned for a particular night. The interior of the club is decorated in a modern style and provides a cool atmosphere into the early hours.

You can expect to pay more for entrance if you are a man (3,000 yen as of June 2010) than a woman (2,500 yen), and some nights it can be cheaper if you arrive before midnight.

    The Liquid Room

    • The Liquid Room offers a dark and grungy experience on club nights. Its low ceiling and open-plan dance floor make it feel like you are clubbing at an underground warehouse rave. The music is dependent on which night you go, and listings are available on the website, but rock and indie music are most prevalent. In addition to club nights, The Liquid Room often hosts live music, and the low ceiling can make for an excellent live music experience.

These include a hard dance night on Mondays, hip-hop on Wednesdays and electro and dance on Saturdays. All club nights are overseen by regular resident deejays. Club Atom also has "happy hour" between 9 p.m. and midnight, when there are special drinks offers for clubbers.
