Researching the Internet to Find a Profitable Niche
Of all the different ways there are to make money online, the best might be creating and selling your own product. This way you will get 100% of your earnings rather than just a small commission as an affiliate. Developing your own product however will take time and a lot of research to get it right. The time spent though will be well worth the work.
If you want to create a product but have not a clue where to start or what to do, relax for now and realize that to get this right you will need to do some research. After searching through some things, you will find some trends that are hot, and then a product idea will show its face soon enough.
We can leverage the information that is already on the internet to make a top notch product. First though you have to find a few niches that you think might be sell able.
To do this, I always start at Amazon.com. Under the books section here you will find plenty of trendy books that are selling off line in all imaginable niches and topics. This is a great place to go to get ideas for eBooks to create. You also have the capability to list them in descending order from top selling on down. So instantly you'd know which books in whatever topics are the best selling.
So let's say you found a few topics or niches that you think might have the potential to sell as an information book or eBook online.
The next thing you need to do is check the online market to make sure that there are enough people searching for what you want to sell. And you will also want to check on the competition to see if there is anything like it already selling online.
The numbers are all there for us to know whether or not an information product is going to sell or not. All we have to do is use a keyword tool like that which Google offers. Simply type in some of the main keywords that your potential customers would type in to find your product and you will get a listing of exactly how many searches per month they get. This is a valuable tool that should not be underestimated. Only move forward if you think that there are enough people searching for what you are offering.
To check on the competition, you can enter those same words in Google using quotes to see how many people are actually targeting those keywords. The smaller the number the better off you'll be. You should also go to Clickbank to see if there are any like products in their marketplace. If there are, you can buy their product and leverage some of the work that they did as well.
