How to Sync My Office Exchange Email with My Palm Centro
- 1). Press the Applications key and choose "Email" to open VersaMail.
- 2). Press the Menu key and select "Accounts," followed by "Account Setup." Select "New" to configure a new account.
- 3). Type the Outlook Exchange email address you want to sync in the Email Address field, and type the account password in the Password field.
- 4). Click "Next."
- 5). Select "Outlook Mail (EAS)" in the Mail Type menu and enter the username necessary to access your Exchange account in the Username field. Your username may be the full Exchange email address in the format "user@domain.com," or you may simply need to enter "user." Contact your system administrator if you are unsure.
- 6). Type your incoming Exchange server address in the Incoming Mail Server field. This address is often in the format "exchange.company.com." Enter the outgoing server in the Outgoing Mail Server Field, which is often in the format "smtp.company.com."
- 7). Tap "Advanced" to configure the incoming and outgoing port numbers and security settings for the Exchange server. Only click "Advanced" and change these settings if asked to do so by your Exchange system administrator.
- 8). Select "Done" to save settings and go to your Exchange inbox on the Palm Centro.
