NFL-Themed Room Decorating Ideas
- One way to design a room is to use wallpaper or a wallpaper border with your favorite NFL team's logo. If you can't find wallpaper in your favorite team's logo, you can always paint the room its colors. Some of the ways that you can paint the room with team colors are by painting vertical or horizontal stripes in two or three colors, or painting an accent wall in one color and the surrounding walls in another color. Color blocking, in which you use two colors in large chucks, such as one color on the top half of the wall and another on the bottom, is another idea. However, you can also paint a mural with a football theme or simply choose one color and use it to paint the entire room.
- Choose window treatments that match your walls, such as fabric printed with the NFL logo of your choice. Likewise, you can choose window treatments that are the same color as one of the colors that you use on your walls. Striped window treatments in the same colors that you used on your walls also work well in an NFL-themed room. One way to choose window treatments in your bedroom is to match it with your bedding. For example, if you have bedding printed with NFL logos, you can choose the same print for your window treatments.
- One way to decorate your NFL-themed room is to cover your bed in sheets printed with logos of your favorite NFL team. If, however, your walls are already covered in NFL logos, you can cover your bed in solid-colored sheets instead. This makes the room appear less cluttered, and you won't be overdoing the use of the logos. Mix and match your bedding with the colors of your favorite team. For example, if your favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys, cover the bed with white fitted sheets, gray pillowcases and a blue bedspread.
- Continue the NFL theme in the room with official NFL accessories. Some of the NFL accessories that you can decorate with are table lamps, wall clocks, area rugs, pennants and decorative pillows. Don't, however, limit yourself to decorating with only official NFL accessories. Incorporate other objects into your design, such as displaying signed footballs, NFL memorabilia, framed posters, jerseys and playing cards and football helmets.
