How to Get Tickets for "Late Show With David Letterman"
- 1). Go to the "Late Show" website at www.cbs.com/late_night/late_show/tickets/ for advance tickets. Submit for tickets on the ticket request form. For group requests, use the group ticket request form. All requests are then put into a lottery, and those who get tickets will be notified by phone.
- 2). Go to the Ed Sullivan Theatre box office at 1697 Broadway, between 53rd and 54th streets in Manhattan. Requests can be made for advance tickets 9:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Anyone who arrives before 9 a.m. will be denied tickets. Requests are then put into a lottery, and those who get tickets will be notified by phone.
- 3). Call the "Late Show" at (212) 247-6497 starting at 11 a.m. on the day of the taping to request standby tickets. Include a contact phone number. This line will be open for 30 to 60 minutes until all standby tickets are distributed. Arrive at the Ed Sullivan Theatre an hour before the show and bring a government-issued ID, such as a driver's license or passport. Standby tickets will be honored only after all other ticket holders have entered the theater.
